I am very interested in the position of Designer/Draftsperson position at Principle Power. As an Interior Architecture & Design graduate, I have a personal connection to interiors that have an inviting, laidback, and wellness-focused spirit. I believe to be an exceptional candidate for your team because I will bring adequate insights about architecture and design such as a passion for, and commitment to design excellence; experience in producing construction drawings and illustrations, and last but not least, I am eager to be mentored, contribute and grow within your office. I highly admire your innovative and collaborative design spirit displayed in your diverse portfolio. I adore the L Seven Interiors and Ashland Place mixed-use projects beautifully photographed by Bruce Damonte; the Ellington Live-Work units project also caught my attention for its originality. It would be such an honor to be part of your office structure and culture. 

Recently, I have earned an Associate Degree in Interior Architecture & Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, where I am proud to have financed my entire education from various work experiences. I plan to further my studies towards a Bachelor at California College of the Arts as soon as possible. I also speak French and Portuguese.

In my position as an intern at Gary Hutton Design, I redesigned the second floor of the office for functional use of space dedicated to furniture storage; above all, I provided design support for high-end residential projects. While I was working at Alison Damonte Design, I assisted the team with concept development, technical drawings, and illustrations complying with building standards and codes. I also assisted in on-site project’s measurements, installations. On the administrative side, I helped to draft proposals, proposed, and/or reviewed purchase orders. Last year, I also interned for two months at Gilberto Elkis Landscape Architecture Design in São Paulo, Brazil, where I assisted Gilberto directly with all aspects of landscape architecture and site planning for a residential project. 

My coursework, work experiences, and my passion for craftmanship demonstrate my interest in architecture and design. It also defined me as a reliable and fast learner individual who actively listens and pays extreme attention to detail. I am enthusiastic about this position and the opportunity of displaying my design knowledge as a member of your team.
