the company was just hit by the ARBF affair in summer that year. My main goals were to rebuild the confidence
of investors, client relationship retention, territory development, and revenue generation. I have managed to
exceed my sales goals with a gross collect of 335mn€ in 2019 and 110mn€ in 2022, mainly on fixed income and
niche strategies like local emerging debt, cat bonds, or financial debt.
The current corporate situation of GAM has led me to question myself about my career.
At GAM, I am part of a team covering Benelux, Nordics, France, Austria and CEE, and I am the only person covering the fund distribution in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a former fund selector and as a current salesperson in the asset management industry, I recognize the excellence of Candriam’s range of ESG-related products and strategies, including a broad range of innovative thematic equity strategies and ESG fixed income strategies. My background in the buy-side of the asset management industry is a pure asset for me. As a salesperson I totally understand the needs of the clients and the challenges they deal with. My current experience at GAM has helped me to enhance client centricity as a key priority for a long-term relationship of trust with our clients.
As a result, I have the ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges. I am self motivated and a highly dependable individual that is confident and culturally diverse. I believe and references from former employers will confirm, that I am a passionate driver who is hands on when it comes to working smart and hard.
