I am applying for the Dentist position at Community Health Connections. My academic and clinical training provided me a strong foundation and experience triaging patients, conducting interviews and completing medical histories, performing dental and oral cancer screenings, as well as proposing diagnoses and treatment plans. I'm currently working as a Dental Resident for Uconn Health. I will have completed my AEGD residency in July, and I'm looking to take the next step. During my residency, I worked closely with patients, attending at the Uconn Hospital treating all the compromised patients, special needs, and Emergency cases. Also, completing rotations at different community centers. 

My passion for working with the community started since I was a dental student helping low-income individuals with their treatment needs in Nicaragua. My adaptability and communication skills improved by working and learning in various settings. I am equally familiar with using the most advanced dental techniques and equipment as doing my best while working with limited resources. I enjoy fast-paced environments and treating diverse patients and would appreciate this opportunity to broaden my reach and knowledge, serving others in this position. 

I am confident that my unique blend of experiences will add value to your team and makes me an excellent candidate. One of the things I pride myself most is my attentiveness to the needs of my patients. I find that developing a connection with each patient and listening to them helps me realize the best treatment plan. My desire to challenge myself professionally, combined with my enthusiastic, friendly, and responsible attitude, will make me a great addition to any practice.
